Obstacle Course – Ages 8+ generally manage the course well on their own. We do allow kids from 5-7 years on the course, however it is important to note that someone able to help them must go up on the course with them. The kids may be very capable but nervous on their own, they may need help with the equipment they have to use and they may not reach easily…a little help can go a long way.
Zip Line Course – Ages 8+ can generally manage well on their own. We do send guides with groups for the Zip Line Course at this stage, so kids will have help from the Tree Trails team. Ages 5-7 at discretion as height can be a bit of an issue on this course with slanted platforms making the reach more difficult for small kids.
Bungee Trampolines – From age 3, if they can fit SAFELY into the harness they can jump!! Fun for all ages, upper weight limit is 100kgs due to the trampoline mats.
Obstacle Course – Full Course R260/person. No time limit. For groups we have different options for the course, please contact directly either by email or What’sApp to discuss.
Zip Line Course – R200/person
Bungy Trampolines – R60/person for up to 10 mins. Is more tiring than it looks, but so much fun.
Gloves – are purchased for R30 a pair, and kept by you to bring for your next visit. Highly recommended for the Obstacle Course, can be helpful on the zipline course as well. You are most welcome to bring your own gloves if you have some.
HAIR – This is a major Safety Factor for us. ALL hair long enough to be tied back MUST be tied back. No exceptions. Hair can be tied back and low, plaited so is not hanging loose and able to get caught in a zipline pulley. It really is imperative. We keep a supply of hairties at all times if you are needing one.
We are an outdoor adventure sport, so we are definitely affected by the weather. Wind can pick up suddenly, rain comes when not predicted. We can safely operate through most weather conditions without any problems. Conditions can sometimes make things more fun. Rain is not a show stopper, it can make things less appealing, but not dangerous.
WINDS can get quite strong out here. There may be the very rare time where it is not advisable to go on the Obstacle Course. Wind can affect the Zip Line Course quite dramatically. If the wind is coming in from certain directions we know there will be a big hindrance to the enjoyment of the experience and have to close the Zip Line Course for that reason. You don’t want to spend your time being rescued due to not making it to the platforms.
LIGHTENING – We cannot however operate during a lightening storm of any sort. Lightening is extremely random and dangerous and can hit far from the centre of its storm cycle. If we have a storm come over us we will have to evacuate the course as hastily as possible, and hope to wait it out, and halt anyone starting.
Obstacle Course – We don’t have a fixed weight limit, however for those over 120kgs it is going to be a tough task to manage the Obstacle Course. For our customers safety we will need to discern on an individual basis.
Zip Line Course – Again, not a fixed weight limit, over 100kgs is going to make a difference on a windy day. For our customers safety we will need to discern on an individual basis.
Bungee Trampolines – Due to the nature of trampoline mats the weight limit is 100kgs.
